Filed under: — Winnie Wong @ 1:39 pm Print

The MIT Critical Policy Studies group is run by Prof. Jing Wang (S.C. Fang Professor of Chinese Cultural Stuides). The group brings together cultural studies and policy studies professors in the Boston area, and its ‘05-’06 discussion theme is “The “Public” and “Private” Divide in the Reform Policies of the PRC”. They meet monthly at MIT and Prof. Wang is looking to get more grad students involved.

They are also hosting a workshop in Beijing this July 29-31, on “The Third Space of the ‘Commons’: The Debate on ‘Public’ and ‘Private’ Divide in the Reform Policies of the PRC”. More info here.
