		<description>Actually the rupee thing is only a little surprising. Lots of foreign currencies circulated in China at this time, most notably the Mexican dollar. Still it is telling that Tibet was part of the rupee zone. Zhang also traveled to Tibet via India, as this was the quickest way to get there.</description>
