Last year, I did a daily retracing of the New York Times report of the same event. Those blog posts can be accessed by the "NYT Archives" label on the site. I believe that was more comprehensive than what the CDT is currently doing. I am not sure what exactly you call as “liveblogging”, but at my blog site, Standoff at Tiananmen, I have been running a daily recount of the the student movement in 1989.
