Outsider Accounts

Thanks to resources such as Archive.org and Google Books it is increasingly easy to find published travel accounts and other books, magazines, and missionary reports about East Asia online. In the pages linked here are attempt to begin listing some of the contemporary works by "outsiders" that may be useful to researchers of East Asian history which are published close to the periods they describe, especially containing accounts based on travel and residence in East Asia.
