Usage

The library is usually open to the public. Only Columbia University ID cardholders can check out and request the materials.

Facilities

• Card Catalogs: Not available.
• Computers: 7 or 8 computers are connected to the internet. 4 or 5 are only for database usage. There is free and open wifi if you bring your own computers.
• Reading Room: Open to the public
• Photocopy Machines: There in only one machine that accepts cash in the stacks at one flight down from the main floor.
• Photocopy Prices: $.05 a page
• Bathrooms: Available in the same building but outside the library.
• Vending Machines: Available on the third floor (a floor below) of the same building.
• Nearby Food: Restaurants, delis and bars on Amsterdam Ave and Broadway.
